Since it’s inception in 1999, the Urban Music Awards has partnered with some of the world’s biggest charities as part of our commitment to contributing to the world’s social, economic and fundamental needs whilst using celebrities and music as a vehicle to convey, provide exposure and much needed financial support to our various charitable partners.

In the past the UMA’s has partnered with the following charities;

-2005-2006- UMA partnered with Warchild Charity
-2007-2010 - UMA partnered with Save the Children
