About Us

America’s Next Urban Superstar was launched in 2009 in the US following the success of the UK show Britain’s Next Urban Superstar. The US show saw singers, rappers and street dancers compete from over 22 US states for the winner to be announced at the Urban Music Awards USA at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.
